In September 1996, the well known retailer Eddie Bauer launched a new, innovative product line called the “EBTek™”. This unique new collection features improved performance fabrics for it’s casual men and women apparel. The new line complements the brand’s existing offer of performance wear and active clothing.
The new EBTek collection includes the new EBTek System of high performance outwear, together with the EBTek casual activewear.
Basing his products on the idea that only costumers can know with accuracy what are their needs for style and performance, the company created EBTek exactly to answer such needs. Using high performance fabrics like Polartec200, Goretex and of course Eddie Bauer Premium Goose Down, the new system separates the outwear shells from the insulating pieces, such as vest, parkas and others, in such a way that they can be worn separately or linked together.
Creating a unique style in its technical engineering, the products in the EBTek system are made to be fitted together by the use of an internal zipper. This method allows customers to combine the products of the EBTek system, creating over 160 combinations of various colors and gives them more freedom in customizing the performance of their apparel.
The declared goal of Eddie Bauer in developing the EBTek system was to offer the customers the widest possible range of options in customizing their clothing. Being unisex, the EBTek system was designed to be versatile both in color and performance, as to meet the requirements of even the pickiest customers.
The EBTek collection follows naturally the trend set by previous customer favorites like the jersey t-shirts, shorts and fleece pullovers. There are available Eddie Bauer coupons on the web in order for customers to buy their favorite performance clothing at reduced prices.
According to Eddie Bauer’s officials, the new system will feature all kinds of comfortable activewear, from t-shirts, sweats, shorts, to rugby shirts and pullovers. All of these being available in a large variety of performance fabrics such as Supplex, Polartec, and the more “classic” cotton and fleece.[ad_2]
